A Suggestion for John & Chris

John and Chris, or Chris and John; (I don't wish to make one of you feel of less importance than the other one. I know this pecking order thing to some has a level of importance. )

I wanted to suggest that both of you offer a topic that you are happy to discuss and talk about it here. IE: Post something first. Going down this string below makes it fairly obvious you will comment, but you don't contribute. I'm not sure why that is, but it just is.

The two of you possess a wealth of knowledge and I'm positive some people who read here would enjoy learning about something new to them. It doesn't have to be about predicting earthquakes. As I suggested to Chris on one occasion, I'm sure some would like to know what he does when he is out in the field for instance. I read about the round robin brown bag lunch discussions that happened at UCLA and that seemed like it would have been fun to attend.

This board needs help. And surely not from me. Actually, I have something else I want to work on for the next few months. It has something to do with predicting earthquakes, but not in the way you would think about it. So as I step back a bit here, let's hope that makes room for some new people to come and post and offer their contributions.
