Hi John. I don’t know if this true or not, but I heard from a pretty good source that Jim Berkland made the Loma Prieta prediction at least 14 times before it occurred. I have no idea as to when they were made.

I would love to see all of the predictions he has made in the past. Of those how many were accurate enough to be of some use. I think he claims to have an 83% success rate, but that as far as I know comes from his record keeping and not from a party removed.

He claims there are scientists who do concur with him, but I have yet to find one that says they do. Of course this may be due to the stigma associated with those who use the moon, tides and animals lost and found, or any peculiar antics to predict earthquakes. Some have found it doesn’t do your career any good. Take Care…Don in creepy town
