Gosh Don....those were great. I'll be helpful and add mine...Petra

Yell Woohoo often.

If the shaking gets really intense, do the Woohoo Dance while yelling Woohoo. They say if you're standing up and moving you can't feel it as intensely as when you're sitting.

The Woohoo Dance is sort of a combination of the Funky Chicken and Calypso with or without the piece of wood. If the shaking gets really bad an wood falls from above, then switch to Calypso only.

Make sure all of your friends, co-workers and family know what Woohoo means and that you expect them to Woohoo with you when the earthquake starts though dancing may be optional.

If at the office, after the first good rumble, grab your snickers bar and tuck it firmly in your bra or up your pant leg. Those folks will do anything for relief.

If on a bridge or overpass, you may wish to change the Woohoo sound to something more like WoooWooooooo....WooooWoooooo, then you can get out of the car when safe, Woohoo and dance as space permits.
