Re: 5.6 down south!

Hi all,
These are just my thoughts and observations upon looking at the quake patterns. When I first went online and looked at the quake map I was struck with what I would call a splatter pattern of outlying aftershocks. I am also struck with the fact that as of yet no aftershock is over a 2.8 or so. Wouldn't you expect at least one or more three's or a four by now?
My only first hand experience is the Northridge quake and we had had several large aftershocks by this time after the main quake.
If I had to go out on a limb I would say I lean toward a larger quake on the way or another further up the fault line. I have no time frame but feel it may be slower than one would think.
What ever happens, lets hope those in the area prepare themselves!
