Good story. Do you remember the one someone posted here last year I think it was where a lake I believe around Arkansas suddenly drained overnight. I recall there were homes built all around the lake, but they couldn't figure out where the water went. Unlike this story, there was no gaping hole to be seen.

I saw something strange yesterday when I was sitting on a deck on the Petaluma River. I was looking down the river and all of the sudden I noticed bubbles coming up and little circle forming around the bubbles. I thought maybe it was a school of fish and a few minutes later this entire section of the river had bubbles appearing. Then sections became divided between bubbles and no bubbles. But as I watched there were bubbles right next to the shoreline where I could see into the water and there wasn't anything there. No fish or turtles. The river is always a muddy brown so who knows what it was, but it was the first time I've seen it. But I will look for it again.
