Rebuilding Indonesia

Hi All,

I'm very interested in the progress of recovery for the citizens of Indonesia as well as other places which were touched by the earthquake and resulting tsunami just as much as I was in the restoration process after the Loma Prieta and Northridge Earthquakes. Becoming whole again after suffering such a tremendous loss at times I am positive may seem impossible for some victims. We also saw this last year in Florida after many hurricanes.

But the good news is that there are organizations who are making recovery possible and they are not all governmental. Attached is a link to Food for the Hungry who is making a decided effort in Indonesia to help rebuild the lives of the population. It's far more than handing someone food, stipends or tickets for the next meal, but a wonderful process of emotional, spiritual, educational and financial assistance that will make the recovery process a way of making one whole, when they have lost everything.

I thought some of you might wish to know about their efforts. The article linked describes their current endeavors.
