Why no documentation of fault that caused Northridge? |
How come when you look at a map of most recent quakes in CA along with their fault lines, the fault responsible for 94 Northridge is not listed? I have looked at countless maps of CA faults and a few even mention that the structure that caused Northridge is not mapped on these maps. Why doesn't Cal Tech add it on? Its obviously a major structure and more significant now than the other faults listed that haven't had documented movement in the past 10,000 years. Any info would be cool...Thanks!
