Did you catch the one before this one? The way this is supposed to work is that when geomagnetic events occur of the M class or greater for our region we are supposed to see increases in seismic activity in volcanic area's. So the last time we had 4.0's at the Geysers, Burney and Vacaville. All volcanic locales.

BUT, BUT this time, no soap: so far. Makes a horrid mess of prediction if you try to include this information. But it is fun to watch and see what happens.

As for the data graphs, it's a mixed bag of tricks and you'll not likely see a repeat of any pattern. Some of them last for hours, while others for up to a week.
