Hi Canie, It is so easy to see how the Gulf of California one day could join with the Bombay Beach area and then there would be two coasts to enjoy. I would well imagine it would be a financial boom to the area that today is slowly dying. William Lettis and Associates are frequent contributors to the TV documentaries done up here. Don and I met a woman at the AGU finishing her PhD who just happened to work for them and knew a lot about the RCF. She was fortunate to receive funding and approvals from local farmers to go onto their land and dig trenches and it's from those that we know what we have on our hands today. I'd say she got a good jump start.
