Thanks for sharing your wonderful adventure. I'm so glad people in wine country didn't read about your wine selection...oooooo. Being circled by no less than 100 of the best of the best wineries...they would have preferred you said a good bottle of Pinot Noir, even in a hostile environment. LOL

Your notes reminded me again of those 3 mountain tops I flew over not far from the Carrizo Plain from South to North which all had white comma shapes on top. I suppose they must be formed from sand that was at one time down below.
