Well! I keep responding to messages without reading the entire thread first. Seems as though most folks are also well read in this area. Good news is that you have rekindled an interest in a long forgotten area. My *original* MOS in US Army and working for Seeburg was electronics/radio repair. I worked for apprx. 4 years with VT's...It was when modern chip tech came out that I sort of lost it. I really miss the resistor color codes etc etal;. Have any of you seen the bank of relays we used to have on the front of a 'juke-box'. Some of those puppies carried 400-500 volts....I have broken 3 expensive Simson meters in my life testing those things which are packed so tightly...Also broke the glass of the machine cover when I have hit my head--- retreating from the jolt:-) Electronics as per EQ's has always been one of my passions but it has been since the early 1990's that I have had some company which actually understands the possible mechanics behind the model. Appreciate you folks being here in this forum! Hope you stick it out! Bob
