Re: Ear Wax & Earthquakes

Michael,

We learned a few years ago not to count the trailing sound. Though we don't know for certain, it seems as though the trailing sound has something to do with the length of the earthquake fault. Ear tones in many ways mirror types of earthquake locations. Such as places like the Pinnacles can produce ear tones that sound like running a finger around the top of a wine glass with a little water on it. You should try it sometime and you'll know what I mean. When I hear quake at the Golden Gate Bridge the tones sound like a fog horn. And the ocean sounds like the ocean even with an ear tone. But the most peculiar sound I've ever heard is like a bird being right next to my ear and I hear a fluttering sound as though its wings were flapping. That sound is for quake swarms that are nearby.

I have a feeling you're about to become a very discerning listener..
