Fox news intervued David Applegate of USGS. I still have not heard any confirmation of a tsunami....and one of the stations mentioned something about the water being calm in Banda Aceh. But, that does not rule out a tsunami being directed towards the south and southwest. This is not good that 2 hours 15 mins after a quake that large the USGS and NOAA still do not know if a tsunami was generated. In that time, a tsunami, if it was generated, would have reached Sri Lanka or even the western part of Java...
OK, back to work on something else...I don't see where I can do anything too useful from my home office.
