Seismic Gardening

Hey all you garden lovers, Sunset Magazines "Secret Garden" issue includes a segment on seismic gardening. Both in the sense of using what earthquake faults left behind, such as adobe buildings which are in the state of seismic arrest, or creating something that looks like your neighborhood fault broke it, it is very interesting. The entire issue from cover to cover presents many excellent gardening ideas and I'd highly recommend it.

And while we're on the top of gardening, I'll be working at The Home Show tomorrow at the Fairgrounds in Santa Rosa. If you're in the neighborhood and want to drop by and say hello, I'll be in the Hall of Flowers. Just follow the scent of garlic and I'll be in the booth next to it.

So as Spring begins, don't forget to change the batteries in your smoke detector, check your flashlight batteries, change your earthquake water supply
and make the most of gardening using your own faults.
