Hi Cathryn, I keep records for hits as well as misses. But it is a research project at this point, not an earthquake prediction team. We are all learning from week to week, from experience to experience. It was as a direct result of looking at quite a number of misses that we discovered something going on around Petrolia and found out it was episodic tremors. If we had been posting them here it would have looked like a lot of misses, but they weren't. They were just for a different kind of seismic activity. The reports say a lot more than most realize. Patterns and trends are discovered from time to time. Understanding what kinds of ear tones indicate certain types of geology is another. Its rather a very wide and indepth project as a whole. Keeping track of misses is not what is important, but how the group fairs in recognizing where ear tones are generated and sometimes why.
