Precious Few Things

Hello All,

I rarely pick up in the mix when people start flinging arrows at one another, but in life there are precious few things. Freedom of speech is one of them, to have a voice about whatever concerns one the most.

In the past when I have posted about my personal problems or given a New Millennium advocation, no one said I couldn't say those things here. So in respect for Diane and everyone else here, know that even if I have an opinion, which usually I don't, I believe Diane and everyone else here should have the freedom to speak on topics whether earthquake related or not.

We are not unlike any family in that we are going to have differences of opinion on many issues and we are going to fight about them. But lets drop the sword for today and give everyone a hug and forget it.

Now on the issue of Precious Few Things, let me impart something to you that has troubled me deeply in the matter of freedoms. I have come to know that when one has anothers social security number that its like the keys to the kingdom and in that, whoever you are, you become the subject of others intentions that can be quite criminal. So today me, Pat Thompson, has to select another name in order to be me. I don't mean just changing my last name, however, my entire name, because that's what it takes when theft identity happens. In order to be free to be me, I have to be free under a different name.

Guard your freedoms because they are precious few things and what you have today, may not be there tomorrow.

With Love and Respect,

Pat
