Cathryn, I think between hearing the Nisqually quake in 2001 and Parkfield last year I've got a good frame of reference now for the larger end items.

Roger has also been of help to understand the various methods when fixing magnitudes. In time that will help me get more round things into that square box which has plagued me for so long. You see, if you are off by .3 that's ok as long as you make provisions for it. Language is everything. Thank you Roger! You're Awesome!
