Hi Chris. I sure did. That activity has some people worried. They don’t understand what’s going on and that is what has them worried. They don’t know if the area is building towards a much larger quake, or if it’s just letting off steam so to speak.

The quakes are at the antipodal of the Sumatra quake, but I don’t know how much of a factor that has in the cause of the quakes. I know Lowell told me once that the antipodal can be a factor, but only if the area is active to begin with. I don’t ever recall seeing this much activity at a antipodal before. I think what I should do is reverse search. Start with the west coast of South America and look for large quakes prior to the activity with an antipodal in the area.
