Quarks and Black Holes |
Chris, I'm sure you are aware that astrophysicists can tell you there is a quark or black hole in space, not to mention planets and suns you cannot see and never will see, just by doing the math. Just because there is a sound in the Earth that you cannot record at this time does not mean that it does not exist, it just means there are not adequate instruments to record it. If one understands the study of astronomy it gives one a wider view of how it is possible to know something exists without benefit of anything we know. Thanks to radio astronomy and Hubble we can now collect signals and photograph celestial bodies that 20 years ago only seemed like figures on a blackboard. A good scientist is one who keeps a certain degree of skepticism, yet has an open mind and is willing to examine something fully before discarding it without possibly regarding all of its merits. I wrote to Freund and asked him if his research supported my hypothesis that says that there is a precursory signal of some rock origin which is generated before earthquakes occur and I asked him if he knows of anything on the web that I can use to share with you. We'll see. Petra Follow Ups: ● Re: Quarks and Black Holes - Don in Hollister 20:44:31 - 1/25/2005 (24595) (0) |
