My best prediction of the year was not Parkfield, it was Willow Creek.

If you study Native American history, it teaches us that man and nature were one. They had a healthy respect for the Earth. They watched and listened for the sights and sounds of changes. They never needed a weatherman or a scientist to explain anything to them. They were the keepers of wisdom. For us, we are the keepers of technology, which is a not nearly so warm as wisdom.
