Magnitude: 4.0-5.0
From: 01/05/05 8AM PST - To: 01/09/05 8AM PST
Location: Danville, CA
Lat: 37.8N - Long: 121.96W - Range: 24 km

Hello,
This prediction is based on an increase and now a decrease in strain on the Ohlone Mini PBO meter in the East San Francisco Bay Area. I have noticed earthquakes in the low to mid 4 range in the predicted area in the past after similar readings of the Ohlone Mini PBO strain meter.
I did not note any significant change on the SF Bay Area tensor strain which covers the Hayward Fault. So I think the earthquake will be to the east of the Hayward Fault.
The predicted area is also about midway between two earthquakes this past week(a 3.0 near Napa, CA & 2.1 near Milpitas). I'll speculate that these two earthquakes indicate a movement of strain thru the Calaveras-Concord fault zones and nearby faults.

Steve
