Larger Quake Predictions - Board Question |
Hi All, This question has been buzzing around my head the last week and I thought I'd get some feedback, just in case. If the time arrives where I and or my group decects a large earthquake may be on the horizon for CA in particular or anywhere on the west coast, would you have a problem with me posting the prediction? I decided that on any predictions where it seems there may be a problem with a higher end magnitude to issue a disclaimer with it, indicating it is experimental, rather than scientific fact. Hopefully, this would then seem more like a "heads up" than something based on absolutes. I truly would appreciate your feedback. I'm a little concerned about the day that this happens and I'd rather be prepared for what your reactions might be.
