Being from Southern California, and having some knowledge of earthquakes and geology, this mis-information given by most media agencies is nothing new to me. We see it all the time.

That doesn't make it right, but I know the people at Cal-Tech are well aware of it. I'm not sure what a letter to EOS could possibly accomplish.

What would be the purpose? Could it accomplish something?
