is what I am talking about (media) important?

Yo, guys,
Do you think that the problems in media coverage of this is important? To make a point, should I use the the California registered geologist act ( a state law) to file a complaint against CNN for using meteorologists to present geologic information that they do not understand? I just want to make the point...I don't want to prevent scientists from covering other aspects of science for which they can supply intellegent comment.

I'm leaning to filing the complaint but can be talked out of it.

Hey...CNN actually had a marine geologist (a sort of rival of mine) to discuss Cascadia tsunamis. He did a good job...great improvement over what they had been doing...and he did not pick his nose. I did not notice how he was dressed. I think his hand was shaking, but he spoke well.
I'll be off line (skiing) for 2 days.....Hey...I'm only paid 50%....so I can take off for 2 weeks if I want.
Chris
