| I suspect Tsunami was really enormous near rupture area |
If the tsunami was 10 m in some places after crossing half an ocean, I suspect it was really huge in some area above the rupture...like along the SW coast of northern Sumatra, and Nicobar islands. It will eventually get surveyed...the water line ("runup") will be clear. I have not actually heard that this was the case...I just suspect that it is.
