Hi John. How true. Those that were there for this quake won’t be around for the next one. The thinking will be well we have had ours and it is highly unlikely that we have another for may 100 years, or maybe even a 1000 years. So why should we worry about it.

That is the current thinking in the Bay Area. Most say well my home came through the Loma Prieta okay so the when the next quake occurs we should do just fine. The Loma Prieta quake was a pipsqueak compared to one that could happen in the immediate Bay Area. I think the problem stems that most people don’t want to accept the inedible. They don’t think it’s going to happen in their lifetime. They could be wrong, but they could also be wrong. Take Care…Don in creepy town
