Hello Prof Romino and Diane,

In regard to the physical human seismograph, the one that receives the earthquake signal prior to the physical monitoring devices, I am in total agreement with this finding. Often times it arrives 10 days prior or as little as 45 minutes, however, most often the monitoring devices will not change until after the earthquake has arrived.

Insofar as people who are earthquake sensitives there is one common bond amongst all of them. They are people who are close to nature and are spiritual, each being to their own choices in that regard. I think these people are of a caring nature and thus are open to feeling in one form or another what the earth is telling them. The early warning system is available to everyone, however, only those who care to listen or feel can receive the signals she sends.

However, as the signals are being sent and can be heard, then there must be some way to record them. As to how this can be accomplished, there are a number of avenues, but I don't believe it is impossible. It may be that some monitoring device is yet to be created that can detect the sounds and then record them on something like an oscilliscope. But I believe one day, the method to solving the seismic sound will arrive.

The implications for advancement in seismic science would be so very beneficial in that the advance is greater than anything that is out there today, but taking that and using it alongside what is already known about faults that have great potential to produce large earthquakes, would in the end be the life saver of the century.

I to like Diane am a person who loves to garden and like you Antonio an artist, but not in paint, in fabric, interior design and I also build miniature doll houses.

Pat
