I found a report giving travel times across the Indian Ocean for tsunamis from various quakes.....It is a long .pdf...I think it was p.13 that had maps that include a north Sumatra quake...10 hours to Mombassa, 12 to SW South Africa...so, all the major damage from tsunamis should be done...although I recall (but may be wwrong) that the wave train of a tsunami can last a couple of hours.
7000 dead now...I think it totals will be some multiple of this.

It looks like there may bo no tsunami warning center for the Indian Ocean...if this is true, someone/some country better do something about this!
