ST. HELENS Washington, USA 46.20°N, 122.18°W; summit elev. 2,549 m (0)

during 16-20 December growth of the new lava dome inside the crater of St. Helens continuing, accompanied by low rates of seismicity, low emissions of steam and volcanic gases, and minor production of ash, on 16 December the lava dome noticeably widened, the prominent fracture system along its top continuing to widen, and ash intermittently emitted from hot cracks



SUWANOSE-JIMA Ryukyu Islands, Japan 29.53°N, 129.72°E; summit elev. 799 m (1.8 km)

on 20 December a SE-drifting plume to ~1.8 km, on 21 December an ash plume to an unknown height



Equatorial Ash and Gas Eruptions at less than 23°N or S



COLIMA western México 19.514°N,103.62°W; summit elev. ~3,850 m (unknown)

during 15-18 December ash plumes drifting predominately NE of the volcano
