PREDICTION - Prediction for the Ventura County Coastline

Magnitude: 5.0
From: DEC 22 2004 - To: JAN 19 2005
Location: Ventura County Coastline
Lat: 34.1 N - Long: 119.1 W - Range: 30 mi

Hey All,

I found Todd's recent prediction quite interesting, as I was having some of the same thoughts regarding the activity in the Santa Monica Bay. However, I feel the location will be further to the west based on the current activity in the SM Bay, the Chatsworth/Simi areas, and the fairly recent activity that occurred offshore near Santa Barbara. So, since I do like Todd's magnitude, I'll stick with a 5+ but move it to the west, to within 30 miles of 119.1w and 34.1n, and give myself 4 weeks. I'm guessing it will in the west end of one of these faults: Bailey, Simi, Oak Ridge, Ventura. Also an outside chance for the Malibu Coast Fault. And, there is a real big chance I am completely wrong ;-)

Happy Holidays all!
