I just went over my e-mail report that I made on Parkfield before the earthquake. My report was on that on 9/27 at 2:43PM I heard my ear tone. That's about 20 hours ahead of the quake on 9/28 at 10:15AM.

Would you please do me a favor and find out exactly when the tensor strain meters picked up the signal. I'm a little more than curious.

On the poster issue, I agree that some of them don't know the result when they explain the poster. I can recall more than once asking someone to explain it and they would go through the steps of research, yet at the end, there was no conclusion. Most often though this seems to happen when students are involved.
