Chris & Todd, There is no way the NEIC catalog could be used because it is for larger earthquakes, not smaller, regional events. We are using the ANSS catalog for quakes from 0.1 and greater. One of my long held questions is to ask if commuter traffic influences earthquakes? Does that steady, slow, snail like beat affect shallow faults? How about deeper ones? Maybe we can answer those questions. I'll let Don explain the fault behavior for Todd, it's to early for me.
