cluster of M6+s..

there have been M6 and larger earthquakes in 4 different areas in a 20 hour period...with the largest the 7.4, which is 2000 km east of Petra's predicted location. I think the more interesting question is whether or not these are either related to each other or to the Kp9 (highest level) magnetic storms. I don't see why the subsolar point of the flare should have any significance. Geomagnetic polse and equators and positions on earth of magnetic storms might make more sense. Or, there may be nothing there. Back when I was in touch with Lowell, before I started posting here, I think it was june 4 2000, there was a flare or storm or something...I think a big one, and then a realy global burst of seismicity...M6s...maybe in 10 locations in a couple days. I think one of them was big....a high 7 or an 8.
For yesterdays, if there are 10 or 20 7s in a year and 100 or more 6s (did not check the numbers), then every now and then you might expect 4 6s in a day by chance.
