If I were you (or if I were me), I'd just email Bob Nadeau or Doug Dreger and ask whether they are seeing tremor near Mendicino. Drum recorders have nothing to do with it, you just need a sensor capable of recording high frequencies. Chris, the tremor is usually only visible at 10 Hz+, it is the crackling that accompanies the aseismic transients, which are only visible with GPS so far.
