Hi Canie, I agree with you on everything that you said above. However, I feel that in the year 2004 this election and America is NOT at the cross roads of what is a have and a have not. How I personally would love to go back to an America that would argue the Marx theory and have and have nots all the way to election day. But things changed after 2001 and I personally don't feel Bush was a man that knew how to handle it. This election marks a division of America on War, foreign policy, diversity, civil liberties, religion and so forth. Just like you present a case that communism is making its way into the US society, I could make a case that we are a society that is increasingly torn between seperation of church and state....yet we chastize other nations for building governments aroudn this same concept. I voted for Kerry today. But whoever wins I hope that in 2008 this country will be divided on haves and have nots.
