I understand what you have written because I know it is true. The ears do "hear" earthquakes and volcanoes in advance of their occurrance. The duration is usually within hours, but within three days is okay too. You mention Etna eruptions, is that because you are located somewhat near it? I ask because I only seem to "hear" West Coast quakes and volcanoes down to Ecquador. As for the "hearing," it is not within our hearing range, yet I hear it. Cover my ear and the "sound" is clearer and internal. For me, these schitzophenic sounds come in clicks, tones, ringing and singing. Ringing and singing indicate stress. Clicks and tones are reserved for quakes. My right ear is for quakes closer to me and my left for areas in the Pacific. None of the "sounds" seem to indicate magnitude, but, rather, distance from me and the level of earth stress.

There are others here who share this EQ/volcano symptom. It has been my hope for many years now that those who have discovered this gift/curse would find there way here and, together, that we might make some sense out of it and, perhaps, save some lives in the process. This board represents the best attempt at this to date.

But, let me warn you, there is another large EQ sign which has popped up more than anyone wants to admit...and that is folks get testy and snip at each other. Feelings have gotten hurt in the past, but the true to heart have stuck together and here we are. Welcome.
