SCEC-USGS page not updating

I guess I better go off topic only every 10 posts or so...or mixed topic....
So, the quake map that I link to through the SCEC site is not updating, but the USGS-NEIC page is...see link. NW-SE alignments of quakes are kind of interesting to me....like the one from south of San Simeon to Parkfield to the Mammoth/Long Valley to aftershocks on the Nevada-CA border...and maybe a fuzzier one from Bakersfield to Coso to Nevada. There is a structure along the Bakersfield alignment, part way....the White Wolf fault.....

So, are these alignments real, or just that in a cloud of random earthquakes on NW-SE faults, cross-alignments will appear? If real, could they be some deep tear fault/weakness inherited from subduction? Or, incipient block boundaries for clockwise rotation?
