Re: useage of this page |
Hi Chris, I logged in to see if anyone else had taken exception to your initial post in this thread the way I did the first time I read it. Sometimes, depending on what time of the day it is, or other circumstances, we may interpret something that wasn't meant to be said the way it comes across. Actually, I'm still not sure what you meant. Gosh, I hate that. So, I'll say this. I've invested four good strong years contributing to various groups on the net, 3 related to science and several others related to important womens issues. Yes, women's issues are important, even these days. For the most part the experience has been quite rewarding. I'm often told that other people learn from matters I post about, or they have a similar experience or I may clarify something, even items related to earthquake science/prediction. I made the commitment three years ago when I built The Seismic Safety Zone to teach as many people as I can about earthquake awareness and safety. I don't care if they come one at a time or in groups, every one of them is important to me. Just as the folks who either participate here or just read. I love 'em all. I like to think of a fireside chat out in the north woods, where folks drop in and sit by the fire and talk. Sometimes they arrive one a time and at other times the number is greater, but in time a few thousand or so come through and you have to appreciate the process. Petra
