Anyone remember my post about 2 weeks to a month ago speculating that the Coalinga EQ was the missing Parkfield EQ (Don's theory, actually) of 20 years ago, and that we should be expecting the next one sometime soon?

My husband at work in Scott's Valley (about 15 miles N. of us in Aptos) felt it strongly, and I didn't feel a thing. Weird.

Now... about that 37-40 second tone I heard recently. This busts the 37.5 miles per second theory, but could it be that this is what I heard? In other words, maybe for me longer doesn't mean farther, just stronger.

Just a thought.

Will be on the lookout for more aftershocks, hoping to feel some.
