Heads Up!

Hi To All My Friends & Happy New Year! (We Didn't Blow Up!)

After going thru 2 months of utter chaos and $$$ out the window with rebuilt engines, College tuition, iMac Computers, etc. etc. I finally can sit down and post something that makes sense in my life! I Think! However, I lost/couldn't remember my password to post, had a brainfart and so it goes! Thanks Canie for helping me out!

Anyway.....if I could have posted 3 days ago, I had a feeling about that quake in San Jose, however, I have had major bouts of ear ringing, dizziness and "Major" heart palpatations where I feel that my heart is up in my throat for 2 days now! Massive adrenaline rushes, and rt sided headaches with tightness in rt top shoulder area. No...I'm not having a stroke! :-), if Christmas and blown up Jeep engines didn't kill me along with my In-laws being here, nothing will! But, when I get these symptoms,as some of you know in the past, there is an emminent EQ of good size, looming in the darkness of the earth. I saw that San Juan Bautista was active for 2 days, but....I have a hard time accepting the "Quarry Explosion" theory for 2 of the quakes I saw up in Cupertino, I didn't know that Cupertino had a quarry that could cause explosions, nor did I know that the area near SJB had one either, other than that Sand quarry off 129 going into Watsonville. Then while at the Pharmacy today, my friend that owns it told me that for some reason, early this AM, she decided to pull out all the flashlights to have on hand just in case. She feels that we are going to have a large quake too. Some have said that rain acts as a lubricant for the faults to slip and slide more easily, and if thats true, well.....?

I also have a question for Alan Jones. The EQ in China had a 5.9 then they said they had a 6.5 aftershock. Which I know has since been downgraded, but I'm having difficulty understanding the science of this. How can you have an aftershock that much larger than the main EQ itself and how is that possible? Just curious....or....Hey Pat....nows the time to put that Geology class to use here! :-)

Well, gotta dash off again, but just wanted to post since it has been forever! Missed you guys.

Bye for now :-)
