No. Just contact your local District Attorneys office and they will tell you who to contact. If you are eligible for assistance, which you should be, (there is no income qualifier) then you just fill out the papers and send them in and they take it from there. It doesn't cost you anything. They in turn add 10% onto the back end of monies owed and collect it from the deadbeat.

According to the stats from The Department of Health and Human Services, the national debt for unpaid child support (arrearages) at year end 2001 was $95 Trillion dollars, up from $77 Trillion owed at year end 1999. Do you think the system works efficiently?
