Hi All,

I to, like Bob sat for hours watching the news footage of what was happening from one area to the next. Though I couldn't physically feel it the memories of Loma Prieta were vivid. I'm certain anyone who has survived an earthquake carries with them a rememberance of being one who might have been a victim and known for the grace of God they were greatly fortunate not to have been.

In the many stories I have received from survivors of the Alaska '64 earthquake from people who were children then or older adults now they had an unforgetable experience. Its just one of those times when "time slows down" and you can recall every single detail with amazing clarity.

My greatest wish today would be that the answer to this death in a seismic sea would finally be found and a warning of some nature would be available to those who lie in the wake of the tide of destruction. However, it is no doubt not just around the corner, but I do feel hopeful it is not so far away either. Shoulders to the wheel, chin up, chest out, some way or another this problem will be solved. All problems are and this to shall one day come to pass.

In memory of those who have gone, may we all wish together there will be far fewer in the future.
