Hell, Plate tectonics, and Jeb Bush

Cathryn et al.....Since we have not actually seen "all Hell Break Loose", then it must be expanding. This expansion is obviously occuring at oceanic spreading centers....lots of red hot stuff there. This can be measured...if seafloor spreading is occuring faster than plate subduction, the earth is expanding at a rate proportional to that of aethesists like me entering Hell. Most people will not admit to being aetheists, so I think it would be a valuable sociologic study to use continuous GPS receivers to get the seafloor spreading and subduction rates to the nearest millimeter, and balance that against the rate of Hell expansion. I want to graduate school in France, and some of the students were actually taught by a soviet geologist who believed in seafloor spreading and not in subduction...this was the expanding earth hypothesis. Really.
Speaking of Hell...if Hurricane Frances hits Florida at the forecast 115 knots sustained winds.or higher (NHC has 10% change of 145 MPH or higher on Saturday)..I wonder whether governor Jeb will reassure the victims again that it is God's will?
