EQuake Webb Sites

Well gang it looks as if this will be my primary Equake site from now on. I used to post over there using the penn names of Puget Sounder and Sasquatch. Hi Don. Syzygy seems to be going through a long slow death for various reasons. I am not about to pay to post if a super majority of the posts have absolutly nothing remotely to due with motherearth creeking and groaning. Oh and I know I'll learn a little more over here than I have over there. Now don't get me wrong, I think job has the right idea that earthtides might/may/do have an effect on quakes, but it is definately not the whole story as he seems to claim.

Now as to a view about Mt Rainer's plight. Some day in the near future Willis Wall on the north side will colapse due to the very rotten rock across its vertical face (this will have nothing to do with what the tide is at the time). And when it does the Lahar probaly will reach Puget Sound making a mess out of Comensement Bay at Tacoma and if that releases pressure like St.Helens, then Mt Rainer laying there face up will throw up all over itself in the same fashion as St. Helens only worse.
