Hi All. I know the topic I have chosen to speak about is way off topic, but I feel it is something that has to be said.

Most of you may already know that I was an analyst for the Air Force and when I retired I went to work as a security officer for a very, very large international company. During my tenure as an analyst and as a security officer I made many contacts with various security agencies and police organizations. I still maintain those contacts, as one never knows when they might need a favor done such as finding someone, or getting a good deal on some good wine, or getting even with someone, to, well you get the idea.

Anyway over the past couple of months I have been going through some of my old files on various people I have met over the years when I came across one on a gentleman from a Middle Eastern country. His name is immaterial, but I thought I would see if I could contact him. Took me about a week to locate him as he like me has retired from the service. He to was an analyst. We must have talked for more then a couple of hours. My phone bill I’m sure is going to look like the gross national debt that will put me in the dog house for a couple of weeks.

About half through our conversations on this an that he asked me if I had any idea as to what day the next terrorist attack on the United States would be? I told him no and he sort of laughed and told me I had been out of the business to long. So I said okay smart a— you tell me. He said the most probable date would be 12/07. He didn’t know the year, but 12/7 was the most probable day. I asked him why that day, but I already knew the answer. It left me cold.

The first invasion of the United States was in 1812. The day was 9/11. The other invasion date was 12/07/1941. To be quite truthful I can’t think of a better more appropriate date for the next terrorist attack. What better way can any terrorist group show the world that the United States is weak and hasn’t learned anything from history?

We call them cowards, but are they really cowards? They consider themselves to be at war with the United States and as such they will use any weapon they can devise to attack us with. They don’t have long-range missiles to fire at us. At least not yet they don’t so they use what is available to them. They hate the United State so much that there are those who are willing to put their lives on the line to be able to strike us. It’s not so much that they are willing to die for what they believe in it’s just that are more then willing to kill as many of us they can and if it means killing themselves in the process then they will do it.
