Sorry Roger...I'm pretty pressed lately trying to work on a proposal, a paper, and the 2 other projects that I am supposed to be doing (plus the others I can't get to). And all for 50% salary...which sure beats the 10% salary I had in 2000 and 2001.

OK: why don't you first the 20 largest AA storms, and graph the number of M3 and larger earthquakes by how many days before and after...you may want to go out 50 days before and after.

What I might like to see, but it would be hard to graph....is just daily # of M3 and larger on the same plot as AA index...like you did for the M7s.

This will then probably have to be done with aftershocks removed: for a M7, anything within 100 km that is smaller that occurs within 2 years, if a M6, anything within 50 km within 1 year, a M5, anything within 20 km within 6 months...for a M4, anything smaller with 10 km within 1 month...

Have fun...don't do it for me...do it if you think it is interesting. I'm just curious...I can't keep up with publishing my own stuff and am not going to do anything with this.....although if you come up with something clear, maybe someone else will...
