A Million Points Of Light

Dear Friends,

I'm addressing those here who I've enjoying spending time with and those out in cyberspace who let me know this week they did not wish for me to disappear and they wanted to know where I was going, so they could be there too. Every now and then we all need a little support to help us understand when we are in unison with the universe or going astray. God knows I'm not perfect, but he gave me tenacity instead of a degree and a tremendous sense of right and wrong. He also gave me the ability to love just about everyone and I'm most appreciative for that. It is truly as easy to love an adversary as it is to love a friend. The adversary shows you your weak points and a friend, supports you will you fall, and cheers you on when you are victorious.

Fortunately, I have not been feeling well since the weekend which always affords me the opportunity to take the inward journey, to reexamine my goals, understand what I should leave behind and know what I should take with me on the journey ahead. I am truly at the bend in the road and it is time to take this posting business elsewhere. For those who are avid readers of my posts, I'll leave a crumb trail for you to follow at my web site when the time arrives. For the other half, I know you'll be greatly relieved that I've left the house.

I like to remember that winning is not everything, but the truth is always the truth, it has no shades of gray. If you believe in doing something for the greater good of the whole instead of the one, then it is for the right reason that one must pursue a lofty goal. Five years ago I wanted to see public earthquake prediction, today, I have seen it. I've also seen a scientific community that one can embrace, a place full of caring people. You just have to get to know them a little better to understand them. I've taken the time and now I do understand. I wish I had understood them much earlier.

However, there is still plenty of room for lay-people to add something they feel is important that deserves merit. The good news today is that not everything that is heard by a scientist from lay-persons is considered laughable. Thank goodness for that. There's still hope for me. LOL

There is always reason for hope. There is always a new cause that deserves energy. Individuals who share energy for a good cause should be like a million points of light that burn so brightly, they cannot be ignored.

Let us never be so full of ourselves that we cannot be a guiding light, know when to say we're sorry and mean it and so impatient we forget to listen.

God Speed to All Of You,

Petra
