Roger, I am working informally with quite a few of the top earthquake forecasting and disaster response people in the world. And I have been told quite clearly that one of the main reasons they are willing to discuss confidential matters with me is because they know from years of experience that I know what can and cannot be said in public and because I can be trusted with confidential information. Why do you think the U.N. people gave the proposal I sent them that much attention even though I did not provide them with my full name.

So, who do you think I should try to make happy, the people who are actively and officially involved with this type of work at the international level, or the people who are posting notes to this bulletin board?

I know what I am doing.

Also, many people around the world do not have antivirus software on their computers. And a virus can infect them and cause their computers to become virus factories which can create absolute havoc. And even with people who do, when a new virus is created it can at times get past their programs before they have had a chance to update them.

You have to catch the viruses at the Internet server level. And based on the events which look to me like they took place as a result of my efforts, the U.S. government and some very large and powerful international corporations agree with me.
