John, as I said to another board poster, you appear to me to be looking for an argument with that type of self-righteous language rather than looking for data and answers. And I don’t have time to argue with people. So I recommend that you stop that. I believe that I told you enough to enable you to perhaps shape part of your own future. And if you are not interested in that information and would rather get into the insult area then that is fine. You have made your decision. Its your free choice.

Give me some credit for being a moderately competent scientist John. Those forces appear to me to be adding a small amount of cyclic strain to the fault zone and pushing it over the top, triggering an earthquake. They probably don’t add appreciable amounts of energy to the fault zone compared with the amount already stored in the rocks. Why would you think that someone with an ounce of brains would propose that there was any comparison between them.

You need to make a decision at some point here. Do you want to endlessly debate totally worthless and ridiculous things like that or do you want to actually learn something?
