ERUPTION DETAILS: POSSIBLE ERUPTION AROUND 17/0115 UTC . DETAILS OF ASH: SATELLITE IMAGERY SUGGESTED A POSSIBLE BRIEF EXPLOSION OCCURRED AROUND 0115 UTC. THE ASH CLOUD BROKE THROUGH THE MID LEVEL CLOUDS THAT COVERED THE SUMMIT AT THE TIME. THE ASH CLOUD DISSIPATED NEAR 0116S7849W BY 0245 UTC. THIS ASH CLOUD WAS BELIEVED TO BE NEAR FL400 PRIOR TO DISSIPATION. SATELLITE IMAGERY THROUGH 0445 UTC SHOWED MID LEVEL CLOUDS OVER THE SUMMIT AND THE SURROUNDING VICINITY WITH NO EVIDENCE OF ASH.
